Financial members of the Proptech Association of Australia can now enjoy exclusive membership benefits with updates of the PTAA website.
The new Members Only section also includes a free Jobs Board for members to post their latest staff vacancies and a Member News section that allows members to share media releases on funding updates, product launches, announcements about white papers and articles that share their thought leadership and industry knowledge.
Proptech Association founder and president, Kylie Davis, said the major website update was part of the vision of the association to deliver support and value to members by helping address industry pain points.
“We know that finding team members is always a key pain point of proptechs, so we married that with a second request we were getting – from people wanting to work in the industry,” Kylie said.
“Our Jobs Board will be publicly visible, so anyone can apply for roles, but only members can post jobs but we’ll share out some of the bigger and more interesting roles via our social media channels and newsletter.”
The Member News section is designed to fill a gap in current media coverage by delivering proptech industry news to an ‘inside baseball’ audience of people passionate about the sector.
“Other media outlets are great but they see proptech news through the lens of real estate agents or property owners,” Kylie said. “Proptech people are genuinely interested in what everyone else in the community is doing – so the Member News will cover announcements of new startups, funding rounds and investor news, new product launches and marketing updates – so it is news about proptech for proptech people.”
The new Proptech Association website also includes a Library of helpful resources including data about the real estate industry, and resources to support proptechs with their pitch decks, market sizing assessments and product need analysis.
Members will shortly receive their login credentials and be able to access and contribute their content immediately.
Kylie said the website had also undergone a general update to create a more structured flow and make it easier to find information. This includes making different levels of membership clearer and updates to sponsorship options.
“We wanted to thank our foundation partners for their vision and foresight in supporting this exciting industry, and helping us achieve our goals as we move through our second year.
