It has been a big month for Australia’s Proptech Podcast which has celebrated reaching 41,500 plays on Spotify while marking its fourth birthday.

Launched in 2019 by proptech expert and Proptech Association Australia Founder and President Kylie Davis, the series has now also hit 110 episodes.

Since its inception and the first podcast with Dan Swan from RealAR, the Proptech Podcast has covered a huge range of diverse topics – from cloud-based CRM platforms, digital property settlements, downsizing and sustainability to problem solving data security issues and the housing affordability crisis.

The podcast has been well received by an international audience, scoring rankings on lists of who to follow in the space.

It came in at No. 7 on occupier.com’s February 2023 international ranking of Top 10 Commercial Real Estate Podcasts to follow, and was at No. 9 on Feedspot’s November 2023 list of 15 Best Proptech Podcasts.

Kylie, who also hosts each episode, said she created the Proptech Podcast

in the belief that it was important to forge a sense of community between proptech innovators, real estate agents and property managers.

“The aim of each episode is to introduce listeners to a proptech innovator who is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible,” she said.

“We explore the issues and challenges raised by the tech and how they can create amazing property experiences.

“Podcasts continue to be an effective way to reach the Australian real estate community, and sharing the stories about new technology and successful adoption is a great way to effect industry change.”

A number of new episodes of the Proptech Podcast have just landed and you can listen to them on your favourite platform, including Spotify, Apple and Google podcasts, Anchor, Breaker, Overcast and Radio Public.
