AI Assets sponsors RICs Awards

Commercial property asset management proptech AI Assets has announced it is sponsoring the prestigious and longstanding RICS Awards 2021 held by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in property, land, real estate, construction and infrastructure and recognise outstanding achievement, teamwork and companies. AI Assets sponsorship will be across the awards for Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and Hong Kong.

With a history that stretches back to 1868, RICS has set and upheld the highest standards of excellence and integrity to Chartered Surveyors while also being very future-forward in its thinking and open to innovation.

CEO and founder of AI Assets, Wayne Herbert, said he was proud as a proptech startup to support the awards that have long been a benchmark for industry excellence.

“As industry innovators with a background in surveying, AI Assets understands first hand how technology can transform property businesses and empower the Chartered Surveying profession,” Wayne said.

“Our own technology supports how surveyors can work together more easily and consistently and deliver more timely and accurate asset insights and we can’t wait to learn who has made the finals.”

The RICS Awards demonstrate the positive impact that the built environment has on individuals and communities and promotes the role that Chartered Surveyors play in making projects a reality.

“Through the awards, we aim to share with the wider industry, the accomplishments of the profession through the delivery of contemporary projects by outstanding companies, teams and individuals,” said Chris Nicholl, Market Director for APAC for RICS. “We’re delighted to welcome AI Assets as our 2021 headline sponsor for Australia and Southeast Asia and look forward to a mutually rewarding partnership.”

RICS recently released guidelines on Electronic Data Capture Software for Planned Preventative Maintenance. It highlighted how new technologies are able to help surveyors become more efficient and improve the quality of their work and underlines the importance of innovation to the profession.

AI Assets is a commercial property proptech that makes data collection, analysis, and reporting for asset management automated, intelligent, accurate and efficient. It features an asset data collection app together with an asset lifecycle management platform that can slash the time it takes to collect and create asset budgets and maintenance reports.
