AmCham finalist in proptech news

Co-founder & CEO of inndox and Proptech Leader of the Year 2022, Trish Mackie-Smith has been selected by an expert panel of judges as one of five finalists in the Digital Economy category. She is proud to be the ONLY proptech that is in the running for the prestigious award amongst all finalists who are representing both Australia and America.

The AmCham Alliance Awards were inaugurated in 2021 to identify the pathfinders in the industries that will shape the future economic collaboration between Australia and the United States.

These industries include Artificial Intelligence, Biotechnology, Digital Economy, Clean Energy, Quantum, and Space.

Within these fields, the AmCham Alliance Awards recognise and celebrate emerging and exceptional leaders  – the next generation of Australian and American pioneers on the technological frontiers, creating economic prosperity and building people-to-people engagement in the Alliance.

Judgement was based on criteria such as level of achievement; relevance of work in respect of the award category sector and its commercial growth; trailblazing new ideas and initiatives; addressing key challenges by solving global problems; has a positive and ongoing connection with and contribution to the US-Australia Alliance; and ultimately embodies the Spirit of the AmCham Alliance Awards.

The AmCham Alliance Awards 2024 recognise Trish’s valuable contributions to proptech innovation and leadership in the digital transformation of the real estate sector and her ongoing commitment to creating transparency and equity, and helping to revolutionise the property management space. inndox is now helping both new and aging multi-family buildings comply with the new legislative requirements to manage their safety and resilience for life – controlled by the building owners NOT by the property managers.

To this end, inndox has strategically partnered with US-based structural engineers, forensic engineers and law firms to jointly address the new and urgent demand. A series of webinars are being hosted by inndox with expert panelists to educate the communities in New Jersey, Florida and ten other States where the industry is grappling with the challenge of meeting the new “condo-safety laws.” Our first webinar was held on 16th October 2024 and a recording can be provided upon request.

All finalists will attend a VIP cocktail reception at the US Ambassador, Caroline Kennedy’s residence in Canberra at the end of October. All winners will be announced at the black-tie Gala event to be held at the ICC in Sydney on 14th November 2024.

Trish is incredibly honoured to be in the running with other high-calibre finalists and grateful to the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia for recognising and celebrating leading businesses that serve to enhance the US and Australia alliance for positive economic outcomes.
