AI automates 20,000 conversations for independent agency

Proptech Rental Heroes has worked with independently owned real estate agency, Little Real Estate, to implement AI technology called “Alex” across their 12 offices.

Rental Heroes co-founder Ben Burton said Little Real Estate was committed to investing in tools that improved outcomes.

“Little Real Estate understands the importance of tech-led solutions to ease the administrative burden on internal staff and improve the level of service provided to landlords and tenants,” Mr Burton said.

“In just three months, our AI platform has assisted their property and leasing managers to automate more than 20,000 individual conversations across email, messenger and website channels.

“Over the last six months, both parties have worked together to provide Little Real Estate customers with a 24/7 tenant concierge service, powered by the latest in conversational AI technology.”

Little Real Estate chief operating and financial officer Rebecca Kerr said the agency serviced a wide range of clients.

“It’s critical that we offer a platform for them to engage with us at a time convenient to them,” she said.

“Rental Heroes has significantly reduced the number of time-consuming emails and phone calls our team deals with and that has improved the customer experience.”

Little Real Estate has also introduced a website virtual assistant and listing solution that generates new leads through smart, natural language conversations. This includes asking qualifying questions then finding properties to match the answers.

Launching in 2020, Rental Heroes now supports more than 2,500 property managers and 200,000 tenants across Australia and New Zealand.

It recently launched new products including a website chatbot that is powered by 16 core systems integrations and conversational AI that has been trained by millions of data points.

Little Real Estate has offices across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland with more than 300 employees who speak a total of 39 different languages.

The business has a focus on technological innovation and digitisation to ensure progressive, smarter transactions and swifter customer interactions, saving time and money.
